Language / Culture

We believe in providing our students a world class and worldly cultural experience while attending the TreeHouse Academy. We strive to make sure that our staff and students both are multi-lingual and from a variety cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. This combination will allow for both students and educators to share and teach each other about language, foods, local customs and practices, and to promote the many beautiful people, languages, and cultures in our diverse world. Your child will have exposure to Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and many more.

Yoga / Gym

At least once a week we have a child instructor hold yoga or Kids Gym classes for the students either outside under the shade of one of our outdoor classrooms or under our beautiful trees. If the weather is not cooperating, then we will host under the tree in the Atelier. We have a beautiful, yet challenging playground for the students to take part in at various times throughout the day to enhance their gross motor development.

Music / Dance

Our Music program is influenced by the Reggio Emilia project approach to early childhood education. Each child will participate in activities that include different range vocal explorations, fun, and whimsical chants, simple songs, interactive singing games, group participation musical stories, instrument play, musical listening activities, and movement exploration. Music activities inspired by this approach include light and shadow play, lyric composition, video documentation. Classroom learning objectives are always incorporated during music & movement activities to reinforce fundamental milestones.

Story Telling

The power of a good storyteller can be a tremendous trait for a person in today's world.  Look at some of the most powerful orators in our world today – and we believe it is never too young to start.  We have several beautiful and inspiring locations throughout our facility for storytelling.  We urge the students to lead and captivate their audience now and for the future.
